urban3,Iranians don't support this kind of actions,but unfortunately,we as citizens of the countries don't have any say,as the brits didn't have in invasion of Iraq.So,I don't think this is right to judge people that you don't know and blame the whole nation.

by the way, urban3, just imagine what would happen if Iran attacks and occupies Ireland (in your neighbourhood), and then inspects every moving cargo in the irish sea! how would you feel? what would happen if some of their patrols enter the British waters? it's a sensitive issue and not as easy as what you said.

although I believe this whole war thing is just a very childish game, we should chuck all politicians in one room and let them beat each other up, and let others live in peace.
