Anousheh Ansari, the Iranian-American X PRIZE Trustee and Title Sponsor, and the first privately funded female astronaut (i.e. Space Tourist), is blasting off to orbit on Monday 18th of September 2006 on a Russian Soyuz Spacecraft.
