Wi-Fi Becomes Popular

Parthisan

Two very cool pieces of news on wi-fi and mobile technology:

Firstly, RyanAir has made a deal with Onair (partly owned by Airbus maker EADS) that allows passengers to use their mobile phones and similar devices onboard all RyanAir fleet. Of course you'll pay roaming charges and RyanAir will get a chunk of that! Good news for frequent-budget-flyer businessmen with Blackberries; however some people may disagree!

Secondly, the City of Norwich in Norfolk has become the first city in the UK to offer free wi-fi access in the city centre and a few other areas. Let's hope other cities to follow soon :)
