Ahmadinejad's new Ingenuity

West-Ender

Once again this guy opened his mouth and spoke without digesting his thoughts! It seems to me that Ahmadinejad is not so much 'outrageous' or even 'dangerous', but actually rather naïve in political and international affairs: there's a distinct code, both of conduct and of language, in international relations, of which this guy is apparently oblivious. There are things you might think, or discuss in private with your political aides, but you just don't publicly say, especially when you're talking from a presidential tribune, representing a nation in an international event.

The Russians and Americans understood this even through the grim dark days of the Reaganite 'Satanic Empire' period, so when in 1981 Reagan was shot, the Kremlin might have been privately whooping with mirth, but their public statement pronounced their 'indignation'. So even do the Chinese, famously inscrutable as they are (they've had of course longer experience than most oligarchies at practising dissemblance).

His style, ignorance and stupid comments reminds me of Borat :) Sascha Cohen has got to think about working with Ahmadinejad for his next episodes :)

At this point I am not sure what "dangerous" means anymore. He is doing extreme harm to Iran and Iranians both inside and outside the country. If because of him, another war bursts out in the region, it is going to be dangerous for the whole world. So, being stupid is not an excuse. I feel sorry for us who have to come up with all sorts of explanations (and jokes) to cover up the whole sh** that the government has put us in.

it's not only being politically wrong, it seems he doesn't have any clue about history of religions, he doesn't even know that "particular" piece of land is considered sacred for the jewish (as well as the christians for obvious reasons, and also for the muslems).

In this comment I'm neither for nor against supporting the state of israel, I just wanted to mention that ahmadinejad's suggestion for moving israel to europe shows his lack of basic knowledge about one of the most important issues in this region.

I thought his mission was to make people's life easier in iran and seems that's the only thing he doesn't even give a sh** about.
