Call for cooperation: BBC Radio 5 Live
I am currently researching a programme for BBC Radio 5 Live looking at online 'blogging', due to be broadcast on the 2nd October.
I am very interested in knowing about blogging on an international scale. I am aware of the terrible stories coming out of Iran, China and middle\Eastern countries of people being jailed for blogging about their country and would like to know more.
I read such stories on your website and I wondered if there was any chance I could speak with any students you know about blogging and why they and friends they have across the world blog either socially, or as an act of political defiance.
You can email me (clare.chadburn@allout.co.uk) with a contact detail and I can call you back.
Also, if you have general comments to make you can post them on sairakhan.blog-city.com. Saira Khan (from the BBC's The Apprentice) is presenting the programme and will respond to comments placed on there. I will ask her to put a general post up to invite comments to be posted in the next few days.
I would very much like to hear your opinions about the subject so please do get in touch.
Kind Regards,
Clare Chadburn
Just to let you know I have created a blog which will allow people to blog about their expereinces. Thanks
