Pink Floyd back together for Live 8

Pink Floyd one of the most famous British Band are back together after 24 years on stage to perform for Live 8. The concert would be taking place on July the 2nd in London Hyde Park. The concert is organised by Sir Bob Geldof and is against poverty in Africa. The bands and musicians involved are as follows: Annie Lennox, Bob Geldof, Cold Play, The Cure, Dido, Elton John, Joss Stone, Keane, The Killers, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Ms. Dynamite, Muse, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Razorlight, R.E.M., Robbie Williams, Scissor Sisters, Snoop Dogg, Snow Patrol, Stereophonix, Sting, U2 and finally Velvet Revolver.

The concerts will be taking place not only in London but also in Paris, Berlin, Rome and Philadelphia. The Long walk to justice will conclude in Edinburgh which Sir Bob Geldof has asked everybody to come and join them. As he said "We don't care how you get to Edinburgh, but try to be in Edinburgh on July the 6th". There are lots of criticisms about Bob Geldof's plan that how feasible it's gonna be for Edinburgh and how the city is gonna cope, but I doubt this will make people like Sir Bob Geldof to stop.

Now it's abit late if you wanna join the other millions who want to be in this occasions but there is a way you can watch this fantastic events, by watching it online or listening on the radio. Some opportunist people have started selling their tickets for the event on ebay which has been banned by ebay now. As Sir Geldof has put it "It is filthy money made on the back of the poorest people on the planet. Stick it where it belongs."
