Parthisan:

Hootan:

was below my expectations. ill write about it soon.

(at April 8, 2005 11:13 PM)

Filip:

Iranian are hypocrite.

I have watched this film too and it sucks. Here is why:

-They are hundert iranian christians that celebrate eastern, and iranian out side usa they don't celebrate 4th of July.

-Jamshid was not a kind king. He became a tyrant and declared himself a god.

-Persepolis, was 1000 years ago, and they where not a nation of peace, the won the lands with sword not there kindness. Explain to your child where the empire is now and why he can't go to visit his grandmother in Iran. (because his father is a chrisitan and was presecuted in iran so he had to leave Iran)

-The funny part that the two main music are by to Armenian Iranian, I am sure christian that celebrates eastern.

- Iranian celebrating 4th of July not because they beleive in americas independent, because they are afriad of the what the neightber would think.

Iranian, weakup and smell the coffee.

Oh by the way King Jamshid was so kind he started the first health insurance and retirement, and he was working very hard for his money. LOL

If you are making a movie about Iran for the kids, than show them, Isfhan, Shiraz, Tehran, the people the kids and so on ...

Not about a holiday that was altered by the islam , what date is norooz actualy 1384, 1385, 2025, 2245 ......

......... About the actors ........

Catherine bell, she was born in London, her mom is from iran, here dad is not. She has no desire about iran (or prove me wrong) come on we need to stop to act like we are proud of the half iranian that make it to american society, we have 10000000 of iranian that have done more important things in life than been Jaged.

Aghdashlo, did she really think she will win the oscar?

Sayyad, is Samad (sorry Samad agha) still alive wow.

How about teaching your kid to be always kind, good, loving teach'em they don't need to jump over a fire to get away from evil.

I know is just a tradition, but you know we as adult don't even know what it really means.

Filip an devotet iranian, christian, not a persian empire slave.

(at April 10, 2005 11:05 PM)

Filip:

By the way what has the song "daram miram be iran" has to do with norooz?

Is ANDY going back to Iran?

(at April 10, 2005 11:14 PM)

Roba:

Let's see:

"Iranian[s] are hypocrite"
"Filip a(n)devote[d] Iranian, Blah blah bla..."

Put this two sentences to gether and shake them :

"Filip a(n)devote[d] Hypocrite, blah blah blah..."

Conclusion:

Filip(fka Philip)is "the" man who knows everything. It means if there is something he does not know, then nobody else does! ("we as adult don't even know what it really means." He says)

Filip(fka Philip)has been around for hundreds of thousands of years, He was Jamshid(aka Very Kind King Jamshid)'s best mate so if there is anybody to reveal the truth about Jamshid(aka Very Kind King Jamshid)that would be Filip(fka Philip)who is a christian and is fully aware that Jamshid(aka Very Kind King Jamshid)could not be God because his other best mate, Jesus(aka the Son of God [LoL])has never refered to his Father's name[LOL]as Jamshid(aka Very Kind King Jamshid)(but we don't know yet)...

Filip(fka Philip) recieves thousands of letters of complaints on a daily bases from Iranians all over the USofA(even World)who are not happy with the difficulties they face on 4th july each year, just because of their selfish Native neighbours

Filip(aka Philip)has been around for a long time now,He introduces us to a nation called Perspolis nation who were so stupid, when going to war they took their swords with them(Oh dear!).They are also responsible for us not being able to visit our grandmothers (I didn't know that!) that's why he knows better than anybody else how to make "a movie about Iran for the kids","show them, Isfhan, Shiraz, Tehran, the people the kids..." he continued. Although he is carefull not to give away that much :"and so on..."( very celever) . He even manages to remind us that Sayyad is Samad,Wow!(no, really!)

Our Panel of experts in Code breaking couldn't quite work out what this---> "Iranian, weakup and smell the coffee." means so we can't comment on that(we are still workin' on it). Movin' on:

Filip(fka Philip) Believes that kids should not be fooled by this whole jump-over-a-fire-to-get-away-from-evil stuff, you know, just for the same reason that father christmas(aka Santa claus)does not Exist! for the same reason that cutting a tree and putting it next to the TV, watching it dying does not make any sence to "kind, good, loving kids"....

filip sweetheart! Grow up.

Filip:

You see you just proved me you are one the hypocrite. There is nothing I can say.

Just by trying to spell check my name it shows me you have less inteligence than my 6 year old son, he know that Filip can be spelled in many way. here are some other spelling of it for you to know:

Phillip, Philipe, Philipp, Philo, Phillips, Phipps, Philipson, Phillips, Philby, Phil, Philly, Felipe, Filippo, Filip.

that's all I have to say.

Good luck in your dream of been one the biggest empire on earth and now the biggest hypocrite nation on earth.

Filip:

Oh sorry Roba,
After visiting your site or blog now I understand I am dealing with a atheist, one with no morals, believing that there's no heaven, No hell below us, all the people living for today. For today, huh?

You go on in your site:

"all the people living life in peace” I am sure they had really peace during King Jamshid.

“no possessions wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man”. Yeah I ma sure king Jamshid was really good to his people actually they where so happy that they didn’t know what to do so start building persepolis for hobby.

“all the people Sharing all the world” ohhh now I understand, Persian empire was just sharing the world.

“You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, and the world will live as one” as one or under one King again?

one more time: hypocrite

Parthisan:

Just to remind Filip the devoted Christian, that it's the "Easter" holidays not "Eastern" (as oriental).

Moreover, what's wrong with having Armenian-Iranian music there? I love Armenian music (have heard a few pieces) and apart from that Iran owes a lot to Armenians for music.

Also, Persepolis was built almost 2400 years ago.

You're the only one who has told me that you do celebrate 4th of July in fear of your neighbours. All my other friends just like the fact that it's a holiday and use the chance to go out, celebrate, drink and dance. you probably live in a weird area in a peculiar part of America. Consider moving to a different place (for your own sake).

Now I was wondering why have you made the effort to see this cartoon, considering the fact that you're not interested in those kinda stuff?

By the way, I agree with you that 2nd generation kids need films about esfahan and shiraz too, but this cartoon was supposed to be about Norooz not the history or anthropological geography of Iran.

(at April 11, 2005 10:26 PM)

shahin Afsharnezhad:

Philip seems the most stupid person that has ever made comments about Iranian, their heritage and their history.
I wish I could meet you to teach you some lessons!! You are nothing but an arrogant, fool and nasty person.

(at April 12, 2005 03:51 PM)

SKH231:

Who are you Filip ( OR Phillip, Philipe, Philipp, Philo, Phillips, Phipps, Philipson, Phillips, Philby, Phil, Philly, Felipe, Filippo, Filip..... YOUR NAME MUST REALLY MEAN SOMETHING!!! ) and how dare you to judge my country and my countrymen like that? If you are American or even one of those Iranians who are so drowned by western culture, then do not bother yourself to go and watch this kind of movies and fritter away your money and precious time ( which you can spend it to research on deep, great valuable history of so called Americans who just opposite to King Jamshid HAS NOT CAPTURED the new continent and HAS NOT KILLED so many Indians and displaced them!!! ). Oh I’m really touched by Americans humanity, they really brought peace to this world! How wonderful they are and how silly are those naïve people who think they are slaughtering in the name of presenting the world peace and of course DEMOCRACY!!!!
Although I agree that Iranian has to get ride of the pride of their power in ancient time and look more realistic to life and the present world but it doesn't mean to forget who we were and what was our situation in the world. Looking back to your past gives you happiness, sorrow, pride, regret, which all make a combination which we call it EXPERIENCE, from which we get lessons to be more successful in future. It can be like a motive force for people to improve themselves, besides the history backing any nations, there is something else which gives a feeling of unity: TRADITIONS. Even in a family there are some behavior that differ them from other families, It’s valuable, it tells us the story of people from past, show us the way they looked to the world, how people lived in old times. It’s a gift, but how to make use of it is important, you could complain about being so much involved in traditions but you can not ruin it because you don’t like it, it’s not yours, it’s belong to people.
Any nation is a mixture of good and bad people, tyrant and benevolent, no one can claim they are perfect. This is the beauty of history. We had the Great Kourosh, Lotfalikhan-e-zand, Amirkabir, shah abbas, as we had Nader shah, Nasseredin and Agha Mohammad khan too. If USA had Abraham Lincoln, they had the dark time of slavery too. Can you claim Greeks or Mongolians are all savage and have to forget who they were because they had Alexander or Jenghiz Khan?

Your comment is full of paradox ,you are opposing Iranians because you ( only you ) believe they are against Christianity ( which is not true at all ), or because they are proud of their history and are fighting to save the relics of their old civilization? Are you against tradition ceremonies or are you only opposing Iranian traditions ( because to your knowledge it relates to Islam, FUNNY!!!)

If you want to show your animosity towards Iran & Iranians, I advice you to find a more logical way instead of bringing up ridicules reasons which smell of HATRED can be felt from each of them.

Dear Filip, the slave of narrow minded believes, we do not asked for your wise comments for rising our children, instead please do us a favor and try to rise your own ones with bigger soul and a mind free from any prejudice towards any nation. We could have a better world if it was free from dogmatic and bigoted people. AND PLEASE DO NOT NAME YOURSELF A DEVOTED IRANIAN!
