Landing on Titan
ESA's space probe "Huygens" will start its decent on Saturn's moon of Titan tomorrow. If it succeeds, it will be the furthest from Earth a spacecraft has been landed. On its way to land on Titan, it will take more than 1,000 photos and will transmit them to earth via the Cassini orbiter.
In an interesting move, ESA is preparing to publish multimedia information received during the landing process (in QuickTime and Windows Media formats). Keep an eye on Cassini-Huygens page for more information tomorrow.
