Abtahi's blog was hacked for revealing torture details
{Refs: 2nd & 1st} The website of Iran's ex Vice President (currently advisor to the President and a government committee member) is up and running again on www.webneveshteha.com after it was hacked last week for the second time. He says he has lost a few photos and posts published during last month (on the Persian calendar). In the first part of his newest post he writes:
“Again for a few days I was unable to publish anything. The reason is probably obvious, after writing the post about the arrested bloggers. If I get into trouble again, I will write about it comprehensively.”
What I guessed was true, the conservatives were extremely unhappy about him revealing all those details on the internet, especially when you bring into account the fact that torture has been legally banned in Iran since last April. It just shows that the government does not implement its own laws, and to me it sounds like new laws such as the ban of torture have been set up just to improve the image of Iran's judiciary system before the eyes of the world, otherwise nobody inside the system cares about it.
Also, the other thing that annoys me is the traditional "unclearness" of Abtahi's writing style. While he has not explicitly explained the problems he has faced after writing about the torture of the bloggers, he is indirectly warning the hackers/crackers that if they attempt to crush his blog again, he will reveal more truth (the crackers could be employed or paid by some conservative elements; Hoder calls them the IT-ollahies which sounds like "Ayatollah").
