The one who plays Tar is me (ehsan_space).We are planing a big concert on 12th of February in Leeds(more info later). Northern people, we are coming.

I was also lucky to spend my Yalda night amongst my good friends in the countryside (I was the only non-native-English-speaker). Fortunately it was a beautiful starry night (although the myst took over around 4 AM). And I also played a few good rounds of Backgammon :-)

By the way, I would appreciate if you could tell us the way your your trips are organised. I would like to organise a Persian music night for you but don't know how your system works. Cheers.

West Ender jan salam. I am a member of 1001 nights society at Bath Uni (Not a very active member though) they organise most of the concerts in bath and also the one in leeds. about the nights in London, I Know Brunel uni presian soc president and also King's college uni persian soc president and have some connections in Imperial and they will organise some of these events and I play there. Nothing very hard to organise. However, we have practice sessions in London to improve the work and organise a good and useful events. Depends on where in the country yopu live, we decide to come or not, because people have to do their course works and not always free to perform. e-mail me with your details to see what we can do.

thanks Ehsan. What about accommodation? where do you stay when you travel to leeds for example? with a friend? or does the society have enough money to accommodate you in a B&B or a hotel?
obviously we will coordinate any date and time and make sure it won't conflict with anyone's coursework.

we get back home by a coach on the night that program finish in Leeds. man we had a practice session last night with (Tar violin piano daf barbat and tonbak) and it was amazing. It was so great that I can't even explain in words. it made me drunk. hope we can do some good job in the future
