Donald Rumsfeld, 26 Sept 2002:
“We do have solid evidence of the presence in Iraq of al-Qaeda members, including some that have been in Baghdad. We have what we consider to be very reliable reporting of senior-level contacts going back a decade and of possible chemical and biological agent training.”

Questioned by reporters on how recent the information was, he said that the information was current.

Donald Rumsfeld, 5 Oct 2004:
“To my knowledge, I have not seen any strong, hard evidence that links the two”

I love the way he makes things up mentioning a lot of details like names of cities and locations etc. Anyway, Rumsfeld is not only my favourite character, but also BBC folks love him and have dedicated a whole section to his unique words of wisdom. Enjoy!
