EMROOZ
“Grand Cyber Campaign for Freedom”
In a symbolic act of protest against the recent arrests and crackdown on Internet in Iran, on Monday hundreds of Persian bloggers changed their blog titles to "Emrooz" - the name of a blocked Iranian reformist web site. A big number of those bloggers also copied and published news and articles from "Emrooz" on their own blogs as a sign of solidarity with the blocked site and the arrested journalists/technicians, and more important than that, a show of power to the conservative and ignorant judiciary officials (such as this guy) who had thought blocking or banning a reformist web site would stop or discourage millions of young educated Iranians who support "true" reforms.
Even the Iranian vice president who runs a personal blog himself had a post with the same title to support the cause.
This cyber campaign - proposed by Hoder - helped the voices of the "real" Iranians to be heard by major international media such as the BBC and others such as Radio Farda. It was even reflected in the Iranian media such as Iran Newspaper. A good way to let the world notice the difference between the "official" Iran and the "real" Iran. It also shows that our generation is capable of co-operating for our common goals and very well know how to use modern technology in order to achieve them.
Salute to Iran, peace, freedom and enlightenment.
P.S.: Here is another list of participants in the protest. A creative bloggers has even made a wallpaper by tiling screenshots of this protest.

Well done my fellow young Iranians! However these efforts worth it only if you're thinking of going home and settling down there. Otherwise there's not much point in it.
