Olympic is a game or ....

Mehdi Yahyaei

As most of you know one of our best hopes for an Olympic medal quit the Olympic in solidarity with the Palestinians. You can see here that our president who claims for peace and so on has congratulated him for his brave action.

So what about us? Nothing, they don't care about the people who want to see their heroes on the top of the summit's success.
I have a close friend from Palestine he told me frankly that some countries do not let them live in peace. When I was in Iran, I thought that this war basically is the war between Muslims and Jewish but when I came to the UK I clearly understood that it is the war between Arabs and Israel. It was quite interesting for me that my friend is Christian but he hates Israel. Just want to inform you that he (educated person) did not know anything about the brave action (?) that Arash Esmailie has done. Mr. Khatami just want to mention you that:

"The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well."

Why did you oblige our hero to quit the game where all the people in the world know that it is the place for peace not for your disgusting political game? Do you know what our people wanted? They wanted to let our hero to play against the Israeli and sprawl him on the ground. This action makes sense. I think the Israeli should ridicule us for our farcical action.

In spite of the fact that the Olympic is the place that all people should forget the politics but actually all the heroes wait for their enemies to bit them in order to make their people happy. Look at Chinese and Japanese! Look Argentineans and British! But the coward policy of Iran is avoiding! Mr. Khatami you cannot and you are not allowed to buy our feelings while we could see the hand rising of our hero.

This brave action insulted our feelings. Students here can understand how important it is to win a match. It's difficult to see all my friends' respective teams winning medals except my team.

I hope Mr Rezazadeh can make us feel proud. I hope...

P.S : please consider this news . we lost a couple of our great players for important match against Jordan . Mr MehrAlizade ! instead of quiting our hero and sending a massage on behalf of whole persians , please take your responsibility . we know that most of the chairs in AFC are for Arab countries Sorry but i can not find that why we support ......, Any way

It's true, the government system in tehran does not understand the spirit of olympics. they mix their policy of hatred with everything even the olympics, where people gather to play, setting aside their differences in race, country of birth, religion,...

A palestinian guy in deira told me he believes palestinian athlets would actually participate in any match against israeli athlets. Because that's olympics, it's not a dinner table or a war zone.

It's a bit difficult to denounce what Miresmaili did, based on Guardian's report he was "ordered" to do so.

I agree that olympics is totally separated from politics
