Here I came across two articles in two different sites that I thought might be of interest of you all. The first one is "A Brief History of the Iranics" and the other one is actually a BBC Persian article about the roots and evolution of Persian language written by a researcher in Tajikestan titled "The Identity of Tajiki Persian Language...".
