Cracking open

I wonder how this island stands still instead of cracking open under this extreme change in temperature and weather!! Yesterday we had a true cold winter day with rain and wind, but today we have a true hot summer day with very hot (actually burning) sun shine and clear blue skies!! It was so strange that I decided to leave this short note, but now I'd better go out and enjoy the rest of the day - which will hopefully last until 2230 :-)
