Incapable inept minister

Parthisan

So much is said and heard about lack of safety and fatal accidents on road of Iran such as the deadly accident last night near Zahedan. The death rate on Iranian roads are so high that it's comparable to the rate of casualties in the Iran-Iraq war in the 80's.

What is the Ministry of Road and Transportation for? They are supposed to develop the infrastructure and deal with these kind of problems, but they are absolutely shit. It's worst than a real bloody war, more than 20,000 people are killed in the roads every year only because a bunch of stupid irresponsible people with the IQ of less than a cabbage are appointed to posts of which they understand less than a pet. I'm sure the minister is peeling and orange now while watching the news >:( Now that he has publicised his e-mail address, let's send him e-mails and remind him of his duties. A**h*le!

Calm down, you might have not been laughed at for wearing sitbelt when driving in iran, well you can always give it a go.In a such situation where safty issues turn out to be dead funny to a nation, who is a stupid(if you like)minister, sat far away in a oakwood atmosphere, to blame?
Honey! this is me and you who must take care of ourselves.FACT:We have carS, roads, traffic lights,signs,.../just simply don't know how to drive(sad but true). think globaly,(to start) act localy.

People's ignorance towards traffic rules does not exculpate the incompetence of the officials. The ministry of transport is 'in charge' of making the roads safer, and people are also expected to respect the law - two different issues, although related. Have a look at their organisational chart to see if you see even one bit about "safety", the most relevant thing they have is "damage assessment office"!!! I share your feeling Parthisan, biliaghata

FYI I always fasten my seatbelt in Iran, but this is not the point, love! The ministry is set up for a number of reasons, including supervision of road and roadside development and implementation of safety measures on them. Otherwise private construction companies could build roads and good Driving tutorials would have been enough for the country, what would be the need for a "ministry" for roads?

Look at their web site, they don't even have this terrible event in their news page! The minister has probably gone to ZIARAT in mashad!
