Eye of God
While browsing through NASA's astronomy pictures of the day archive, I came across this magnificient picture of a dead sun-like star. Its scientific name is "NGC 7293: The Helix Nebula" and its nickname is the "Eye of God". Even if you travel with the speed of light, it would take you 2.5 years to get from one side to the other side of this mass of inter-stellar dust and gas!
This is supposedly the destiny of our own sun too!
WISH YOU WERE HERE NOT
Sir, days ago here was this argument going on that how proud we should be of our nationality and culture and sttuf ... and some accused someothers of not being patriotic and optimistic enough when underlin some unpleasant facts... and this question remainded without anybody bothering to answer that "what is left from that mythical persia once we read about in some questionable books?".And then, right out of the blue, their last masterpiece was on, all over, up and down the news world. what is left is me whose nationality is repeatedly coming out of the news reporter's mouth along with the images of blindfolded british soldiers who are sat next to each other prepared to play another shamefull game conducted not by a bunch of crazy islamist group of kidnappers or any AL-QAIDA related but ,surprisingly, by the authorities calling themseves politicians who sadly are happend to represent our iran and iranians. And the worst is to see all this coming throughout a TV channel called AL-'ALAM which is entirely, visually and phomenicly, in Arabic and reminds any viewer of nothing but a disgusting AL-jazira look-alike TV channel trying to represent uc as a part of arab population.
PERSIAN STUDENTS were supposed to do somthing more serious than putting a photo of a guy doing that by a road on the way to I don't know where...
in persian: ahle kashanam amma /shahre man kashan nist / shahre man gom shode ast / man ba tab man ba taab, khaneyi dar tarafe digare shab sakhte am
