Earthquake rocks Iran
According to the latest news, at least 23 people have been killed and many injured after a 6.2-magnitude earthquake rocked northern Iran at 5.10 pm on Friday. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered about 70 kilometers (45 miles) north of the capital, Tehran. Today's quake was the first to hit Iran since last December's 6.6 magnitude event that virtually destroyed the ancient city of Bam, killing more than 25,000 people. I would like to take this opportunity to send my deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
May God bless the victims, their families and our homeland.
Condolences to the family of the victims. Was it like a sign for the brilliant new parliament and all the positive changes that are undergoing in our country?
